QBT – Business travel made simple
QBT announced a partnership with the new Qantas Channel, which began on 1 August 2019. The Qantas Channel will deliver a personalised booking experience for QBT and its customers.
QBT will have access to the widest range of Qantas fares and products, while customers will appreciate richer content and information.
The Qantas Channel announcement follows the launch of the Qantas Distribution Platform (QDP) in 2018, unlocking the value that IATA’s New Distribution Capability (NDC) can deliver airlines and customers.

Customers will also be able to see images of cabins and meals, as well as in-flight inclusions such as wi-fi, frequent flyer information, and the ability to book extra legroom seating.

Qantas also announced that it has partnered with Amadeus to make the Qantas Channel available to agents globally.
A statement from Amadeus says QBT will have the benefit of “the efficiencies and servicing capabilities of the Amadeus system when booking, changing or cancelling trips”.
